Join the Citizen Advisory Budget Committee

Summit County Government formed a Citizen Advisory Budget Committee in 2021 to involve the community in the County budget process and provide fresh insight for County priorities.

The Citizen Advisory Budget Committee is a diverse group of citizens, representing the varied views and concerns of our residents – including part-time and full-time residents, business owners, and local workforce from all areas of Summit County.

The Budget Advisory Committee’s purpose is to review and make recommendations regarding:

• County budgetary and fiscal goals as to how they reflect the expectations and priorities of the Summit County community.

• Budgetary planning documents, major capital project schedules, and ad hoc committee efforts, to ensure they align with the County's strategic planning process.
